I have been knitting a little here and there, and quilting too. A quilt for my daughter's bed is almost complete. Photos will come but in the meantime...
The feather and fan pattern makes the most comfortable and well fitted socks for me. It's easy to remember and interesting enough to keep the knitting going through the second sock slump. I used the K. Fassett line of Regia I bought last year for $4 a skein.
I've used a few toe bind offs but this one is my favorite and quickest.
Now to decide how to tackle fixing this poor heel. Any suggestions?
Huck and I will wait...
cute Huck. I'd like a demo of the solution for the heel hole when you get it.

Huck and the socks are gorgeous. But that hole - ouch! What happened? I wish I had a solution for you.
I did a google search and found possible help: http://www.persistentillusion.com/blogblog/techniques/darning-socks or http://thefabricofherreality.blogspot.com/2008/12/anatomy-of-heel-repair.html
Good luck!
