Persimmon Tree fiber from the NH Sheep and Wool and a button.
Rose-breasted Grosbeaks happy to feed nearby as well as a host of other newbees including Rufous-sided Towhees and Hooded Orioles.
Fair mares grooming each other, both pregnant, both due this month (one actually 3 weeks late).

Hope your mare has safely foaled by now!
Never have seen a rose-breasted grosbeak up here before- they are a curious color- kind of like they've jumped out of a coloring book or some roving :-)
You have some pretty cool birds in your neck of the woods. The most exotic thing I ever see is a robin. ;-)
And your Persimmon Tree fiber is a lovely treat. Their colors are simply marvelous! I only managed to stay out of that booth because I haven't spun what I bought from them at Rhinebeck yet.

Oh very very cool pictures. The grosbeak is stunning. Don't have them up here.
