Before I left for Florida I brought in some branches hoping they would welcome us back with blooms! Next on the list for forcing are pussywillows.

Your forsythia is blooming???? Yikes! I better get some crabgrass prevention on the lawn fast. My forsythia isn't even close to blooming, though. How is it you have warmer temps than I?
Chris- Diane brought them in, put them in water and forced them to bloom. It's great! Try it! Relax-you've got a ways to go for lawn management! :-)
I forgot to cut some forsythia this year-sigh. I usually do in time for Easter. Will cut some tomorrow- mine have halfway decent buds already. Thanks for the reminder.
