Wintery Mix of Woolens and Weather
Annual new pair of Connor Mittens whipped up in one sitting using the gusset style thumb and my lopi leftovers. See how I forgot to add the grey rows on the Con mitt? Duplicate stitch tonight. They look a little long in hand but they actually fit snug under my skiers wrist cuffs very well.
The ice came Wednesday before the snow today which allowed me time inside at the sewing machine to finish these small project bags. So handy for mittens, socks or hand spindling on the go.
As promised, a photo of the Keyholed Palindrome Scarf, a great option when you don't have enough yarn for the traditional long version.
I have always loved these German Wooden Pyramids and when I saw this one there was no question about bringing it home . Could you have ever resisted? Baaa :)

No, I couldn't have resisted that pyramid either. I love the little trees on it also.
The mittens look wonderful and warm! Those are great small project bags too. Do you follow a pattern or tutorial?

The mittens are cute, I didn't even notice the missing line until you pointed it out. The little project bags are brilliant! I haven't gotten around to making any like that but you're right, perfect for spindling so I really should whip up a few.
Mom used to have one of those wooden pyramids out every xmas and I'd completely forgotten about that. I'll have to ask if she has it anymore. I used to sit for hours mesmerized by the slow spin when the candles are lit.

Beautiful icy pictures.
Love Keyhole Palindrome, and nice modeling shot. Very mysterious, and a sumptuous knit.

I really like your Keyhole Palindrome. Great idea.
Is there a pattern for those project bags? Perfect little bags and yours are so pretty.

Oh...the little German Pyramid is so precious. No, I don't think I could have resisted either.
